    Hello,

As I said in my introduction, I have inherited a couple of plants I do not know how to take care of. Would you please help me first to identify what kind of plants they are.

    Thank you,
    Edward

I'm not an expert but the first one looks like some sort of Yukka or a Cordyline Australis (although not sure about the green trunk - is it algae or is the trunk actually green) and the second one looks like a Monkey Puzzle Tree :)

Looks like they both need a bit of tlc :)

Emergency TLC that poor Monkey Puzzle tree looks like it was last summer with lack of water and exposed on a roof !! but still green !!!

Can you move them out of the wind check to see if they need watering I would give a tomatoe plant feed in early April then look at re.potting or give them away on "Not Pre-Loved".

    Hello all,

Thank you for the information!! The plan is to give them some tls, as it looks like they have been mising it for a while. However, I have no clue on how to take care of them. At least now I know about what kind of plants they are, so I can look online on how to take good care on them, specially now that spring is coming :)

Spruce, thank you for your advice, I was thinking on buying some soil because as you can see there is some missing in the pots. What kind of soil would you recomend me for the monkey puzzle tree and the yukka?

    Thank you for your help.
    Edward

Better check with someone who knows (I do not)
You do not just fill up the pot, the trunk has to be at the same level as it was in the original soil
