Something I wish I had more space for, as I have to cut it back from time to time and it reduces the flowering,

    Yes, slow at first walnut.
If it is radicans I find it a bit leggy and untidy, and suckers everywhere when established.

I've said it about something else, elsewhere, but the known varietys are far superior to the seed grown plants and having both, I must say I wish I never grew radicans.

This is a hybrid, "Indian summer" its better in growth habit, larger flowers, and more reliable to flower.
A much lusher plant as well.:)

Beautiful pictures all - especially those Dahlias. Daisy your Salvia splendens really live up to their name.

Pete your posts gobsmack me, as usual, - the problem is I have to get my books out each time. :D

Kedi, I am so jealous of your Hollyhocks - mine are eaten up by rust.
