What should I cap my raised bed with?

    Currently having a patio done ...

    ...but I can't make my mind what to cap this wall with. I could go with red brick in a similar shade, or one of the following options:

    ... some old bricks which have been dug up to make way for the wall

    ... yellow brick (without the ridges) ...
    [​IMG]

    or a buff textured coping stone.
    [​IMG]

    My builder will be doing it Monday. I'm leaning towards buff/yellow to tie in with the paving but would appreciate some advice.

    I'd go with proper coping stones to match your patio Merle .

      The same material as your patio would look nice if this is possible. Not sure of dimensions single or double brick. Cap more likely to stay fixed on double brick.

          By the way Merle the patio and wall look lovely ! You will soon have it all planted up and can sit back with a nice glass of vino :blue thumb:

            I agree, coping stones are wider than the wall so also allow the wall to by used as a temporary seat or a shelf for pots etc.
