I wouldn't do anything for the next couple of weeks at least. It's still a little early for weeding/feeding as the lawn needs to be growing well. I don't put anything on my lawns before the end of April. :)

    Hi stevo67.

I put Lawnsmith Extra Long lawn feed on mine yesterday. Always better to feed first, whenever you choose to do it, then weed (separately) a few weeks later. The idea being the feeding makes the weeds grow and as they suck up the good stuff, you zap them with the awful stuff (I agree on your choice of selective weed killer, I use Verdone Extra in a watering can).

I plan to use the electric lawn rake on both lawns mid-April but I part agree with Sheal here, I don't plan do my first weeding until early June, nicely into the growing season. I'll be giving the lawns a sprinkle of the Miracle-Gro soluble turquoise crystals in a different watering can, then a week later, KILLING about 90 odd percent of them with Verdone. Worked a treat last year.

GL in all you do, post some pictures,

    Ian.

    Hi guys
thanks for the replies. After a bit of reading I have discovered that seaweed feed would be more to aid soil improvement
So I intend to add this first and then an early spring fertilizer that is high in nitrogen and potassium but I am unsure where I can buy this?
attached a couple of pictures after scarfing
excuse the finger in the first one
