Hi there :) Sometime gardener with big gaps in my knowledge here, looking for some advice on sorting out some things in my garden:

Is this unidentified plant saveable? If so, how?

Should I do anything with the dead flowers on this unidentified bush?

And should I prune this cherry tree?

Any info would be very much appreciated :)

Welcome to the forum! You might have to wait until your second posting to have your pictures appear. And we are all looking forward to them :)

Cherry are prone to get diseased if they are pruned outside of dry summer conditions so I think you should wait until maybe July for that gardening job.

Good morning @Maia and welcome to Gardeners Corner :sign0016:

It appears that the image hosting site you used does not support hot-linking (I suspect that it is because they also want to have push notifications enabled, so they can try to sell you things), however from the url's within your post I was able to extricate the from the host and have uploaded them directly here.

The good news is that we have the ability to host images directly here, so all you need to do is drag and drop your photos into the text box where you write your post (up to 12 per post) - or you can click on the upload file button that lives just underneath that text box.

The really good news is that we love photos, and we love a bit of a natter, so please don't feel restricted to chat and photos about gardening.

Hi @Fat Controller, thanks for the info! It appears that the photos in my original post are now visible (looks like a moderator did something - thanks if this was you).

By way of something not strictly gardening related, here's another photo taken on my way to the supermarket this morning

@Macraignil - thanks very much for the tip
