Plant in a fairly narrow border? It's a newly laid lawn and its been edged off to create a rounded rectangle, in one of the corners I want to create a bit of interest with some plants. Ive attached a photo to give an idea of it, please excuse the length of the grass, daren't cut it yet with us having a heatwave. I'm feeling a bit lost with it to be honest so any ideas are very welcome :)

It looks nice as it is - neat and uncluttered. I like the mature climbers over the back fence and the fact that they are symmetrical - another two coming on over the side fence too.. Do you mean planting under the climbers or are you going to make a bed in the corner?

If you wanted to underplant, a little campanula planted all the way along might be nice, as it would be low growing but send up enough shoots to cover the concrete board at the base of the fence. There are probably quite a few other things you could use too.

Thank you, I've just googled all those plants and they're all lovely - esp the aubrietia. It is very narrow so maybe in time when I'm a bit more confident ill make it wider x
