    soz.....I should not joke when caterpillars are eating up plants. I lost enough plants to these munch machines this year.

    It's possible Marley, not to sure if we get them as they are quite a rarity and mainly found in the highlands :cnfs:

    Feel free to name it Shobna, I haven't had a problem with them this year :)

    Maybe a Brachionycha sphinx moth caterpillar sometimes known as a Sprawler

    Well done Ace that's a great shot, they do them in brown as well.
    I notice a few g c members on your Nateral World forum one we have not seen for ages.

    I am trying to catch up everywhere and have just come across your brilliant photo, pip.

    I've never seen one like that before, perhaps we have them too, but the camouflage is so good ......
