The yellow ones taste like courgettes and are patty pans. The other is white Custard. I have grown then both and they are prolific to say the least!!

After having luck with with our first-time courgettes and pumpkins this year, I shall definetly try again next year. We liked the yellow courgettes more than the green ones, quite buttery in taste, we thought a bit like Kohlrabi, and a nicer texture too. I shall see if I can get some of these patty pan ones next time too. Do they sprawl a lot or are they the non-sprawling type. Ours were the latter and we had them in giant pots.
Do you peel them or eat the skin like the regular courgettes?
