I mentioned this in another thread after finally remembering.. Been meaning to ask for ages.

What time do the birds in your area start their morning chorus?

Until I moved to Scotland, I'd only ever heard and heard of birds singing to the sunrise and singing good night to the world at sun down. The birds in my area, however, like to give a 2am and 4am chorus too.

It really is lovely, though a bit confusing to start with, going to sleep with the morning chorus of the birds outside.

Does anyone else get to enjoy this?

Well they were singing at 5.30am in the dark this morning when I got up.
Dont know if they start before that or not though, yet, but I'm sue they will as the mornings get lighter.

Lol Bog, not good at all!

We have a baby cockatiel, only had her a few weeks and she has taken to the bird songs from outside. So we don't just get it from the trees across the road, we get it from our very own living room too!

She hasn't quite mastered it to perfection yet but she is getting there hehe.
