    Hi all,

The foxgloves I put on last year have flowered really well this year, but have now finished and have got seed pods on. Do u cut them down after I have collected some seeds? And will they come back next year?

If they are the native ones, they are biennial (although they have been known to break the rules), so almost certainly its game over now for your ones. However, they produce a lot of seeds, and if you leave them to shed their seed naturally, some will come back. Give them a hand by ensuring that the soil they fall on is clear and loosely broken up, perhaps with a hoe, if you want to increase the chances of them germinating.

Or you could cut them down, hang them up and let the seeds drop into a paper bag for manual sowing.
