Help! As last year, I've grown too many cabbages and I'm overrun with them! We can't eat them quick enough! Does anyone know if cabbage can be frozen (presumably after cooking)?

    Thanks

Give it to soup kitchens. Or places that serve food to the needy.

chop into eatable pieces and freeze it - cook from frozen - still just as tasty as fresh picked when steamed - makes good healthy eating soup ingredient too.

    Yes, great advice- make sauerkraut.

I tried to find you a youtube clip of Alys Fowler making some in her show earlier in the year, but was unable to.

I did find [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAByu1Lb8GM"]YouTube- Making Homemade Sauerkraut[/nomedia] for you though. Clear instructions. Have a try!

Does this site allow embeded videos? Apparently not.
