We get given lots of pheasants over winter - lucky us! We live across form a shoot. :)
I usually cook them on top of the cooker with some cooking apples, onions and cider, as this is Somerset and we've got loads of apples.
Though this is delicious, I fancy a change. What goes well with pheasants?
    Thanks! A.

The locals here make delicious pâtés with both pheasants and hares. If they're young birds they could be roasted (with chestnut stuffing?) or how about game pie?

Fry thin strips of the meat in extra virgin olive oil with sweet chillies and a sweet potato chutney. Yum!
