Can anyone suggest a very low and very tough something that we can sow between the blocks in our block paved drive.
My husband has a vague recollection of hearing of some seeds which you mix with sand and brush into the gaps which is pretty robust:tnp:. Can't remember what!

I did it with feverfew-you'd think it was in top grade compost by the way it has responded.

Chamomile can be sown between cracks and the smell you get when its walked on and crushed is a bonus.

It wont belong before the weeds appear and then you will be killingyour plants as well as the weeds.

and mind your own business will get everywhere including lawns and flower beds and is impossible to eradicate. Plant it at your peril.

I also like mind your own business, so I would have a go at it myself, and I haven't had a problem with the feverfew myself-no blocks have been dislodged, but my driveway comes in across the front and then around the side-nowhere near my actual garden which is at the back.

Vigorous plants when used judiciously-when you choose one for a specific job have a place.

Thanks for the ideas - and the debate (Reminds me of what they say about economists :hehe:)
We think we might try camomile - and I suspect God will do the moss!
