So we've dug up a couple of rows of spuds and now have a tilled area ready for replanting. But what can we put in now? Any suggestions chums?

Still not too late to put in Leeks, Kale or PSB

If you already have these how about a Green Manure - I think it's a shame to leave the space empty

Following my early spuds I will be sowing some spring greens (Offenham cabbage) and some carrots plus planting a few winter (Jan King) cabbage seedlings (I started these a few weeks ago).

I also grow brassicas, spring cabbage & kale, after spuds as they like the manured ground. You could also put in purple sprouting broccoli or sprouts. Just make sure the ground is firmed before planting, and I usually top dress with a little lime a few weeks before putting them in.
