    Hi all,

I'm harvesting my Charlotte potatoes currently and replacing with leeks.

I'll be bringing the broad beans in soon and have an area of land to reuse. Can I plant purple sprouting broccoli there or are there are any others that are more highly recommended?

    Many thanks

All the brassicas would be good, grow what you like to eat, so winter cabbages, sprouts and your PSB would all be ideal.

The other thing to follow on with would be leeks.

I'm going to chop down my broad beans and try to get a second harvest later in the year. In the meantime the neighbouring red onions and shallots will welcome the lessening of competition for light and water.
