    Hi everyone

I have some coloured lillies in pots which are either in bud or flowering, I'm really not sure what to do with them as the instructions say (I think!) to cut them down after flowering and store in the greenhouse.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thank you [IMG]

Only that it's crazy. By lilies I assume you mean true lily (lilium)? I bought a dwarf rhododendron by post this week. It's arrived in flower with a note on from the nursery saying they don't know why. It's supposed to flower late spring. I also have a clematis jacmanii still in flower. Sprouted in August instead of April. Started flowering in early October instead of late July.

I'd just put them in the g.house and see what happens. But if any one has other ideas I too would like to hear them.

People, the seasons are all to pot. I`ve a client who has a Red Hot Poker in flower, another still has Roses flowering, a third has a Clematis in flower, a fourth still has a Hydrangea with coloured flowers on it.

Same silly season here, Primula Denticulata in flower and Sophora Microphylla Dragon Gold in flower, both should be out in spring., still it adds an extra bit of colour. [IMG]

Yes they are Lillium John, I agree it is a strange situation, I also have a white rose still blooming.

And on a walk today I saw some Wallflowers in bloom in a neighbore garden.

david doesnotdomuchgardeningns and base are in. My scaffolder guy refuses to work week-ends, and I'm paying him £2.50 an hour. Going to find a Polish immigrant.

Stingo. Quite used to roses at Christmas round here. Seriously (and I don't do serious very often). The wallflowers are only 3 or 4 months early. [IMG]
