What vegetables - fruit

    [size=large]What vegetables-fruits do you grow up north and is everything under cover in a greenhouse or how?[/size]

    Hi Flower,

    By up North, do you mean North of the Alps ?:)

    Usual range, only grow under cover till the frosts have gone, then maybe some peppers, chillis & tomatoes stay under cover during the summer.

    Most veg goes out when the frosts have gone, mid april to may. Cabbage family stays out all winter, they just slow down in the frosts, mine are starting to heart up now.

    What do you grow down South ?

    As Ziggy said..

    We grow the same up north as is grown down south all outside except for toms, cucs, peppers and aubergines. We just have a shorter season up north, and have to be careful as for me the last frost date can be in June.
