    Hi all,

What weed is this? Ive started to remove it but Im making a bit of a mess of the lawn. It doesnt bother me too much - I quite like the leaves - but Id rather it wasnt there.

If I leave it will its start getting out of control? Is it best if I just remove it?

    Thanks

I wonder if it's Birds Foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) ? It has yellow flowers, quite pretty in my opinion, but I don't have it in my lawn ... come to think of it I haven't even got a lawn

I agree, but if it isn't then it's something in the same family, the pea family. If you don't want it then the best way to deal with it is to weed it out. The lawn will grow again, especially if you scatter some grass seed on it. I had some on my drive but glyphosate didn't kill it.
