Hello there - I've just joined because Google hasn't found an answer!!

I have a largish collection of outdoor fuchsias and since last weekend we have noticed that something is attacking them. The flower buds - all sizes - even tiny formative ones - look as though they have had a needle pushed into them. First examination showed nothing. On one of the opening blooms (Fuchsia Charlie Dimmock) we found a tiny green caterpillar.

Any ideas what it is (I suspect probably some sort of moth) and how to treat, bearing in mind I am reluctant to use products harmful to bees.

    Many thanks
