I like to see happy bunnies - as long as they aren't in my garden. :)

Thats such a coincidence Jenny, I've got up this morning to see my first long tailed tits on the feeders too, then on the windowsill being nosey :heehee:, and unfortunately a happy bunny hopping about out there too :hate-shocked:
Fabulous pictures Strongy, some of the birds you've put on I've never even heard of!!!!!!

We had ten of our ladies on our lawn today :blue thumb:.

They were a bit wary of Sarafi :rolleyespink:. They were never worried when Oscar was here and they would happily wander around and ignore him. They used to play with him when they were chicks.

Six of them on guard in this shot.

When Sarafi had gone they others were happily wandering around - except that the one on the right had just chased another girl away!
            P1150556.JPG

I was keeping an eye on Sarafi in case he went hunting - and he kept checking up on me.

Even with my meagre Fuji fine-pix I can catch the hunter. A little Kestrel on the look for a quick meal.

But had a flock 15 to 20 , Waxwings sitting in the trees other side of the river this morning. Plus Little Egrets have gone up to 7 birds heading in the direction of the Estuary .

Put the food out this morning and within 5 minutes we had 4 blackbirds, a Robin, 3 coal tits, 2 bluetits, a wren and a spotted woodpecker plus a handfull of wood pigeons.

Well, I sat out in the cold today in the Arbour and watched the birds on the feeders while taking a few test shots with a 320mm lens from about 25 yards away and it was quite busy with Thrushes, Black Birds, Finches and Tits. However I went in for a hot drink and back into the garden without the camera........and there were 2 Long tailed Tits on the Fat Ball feeder and that's my first sighting of them this Winter:wallbanging: . I had to be content with standing still quite close to them and watch them fill their stomachs:snork: Wish I taken the camera with me though......lesson learned.:coffee:

This was taken at the start of the snow last week.

He needs a defroster for his tail!
