          @shiney Possibly Crows but I guess you would have seen or heard them.
          Pigeons makes flimsy nests with a few twigs.

              It's at least 3ft wide :rolleyespink:

              We have two crows that have been in our garden for 16 or 17 years (the third one died last year) and we know which ones they are because we can recognise their markings and have given them names. :) They've never nested in the willow tree before but spend most of the day in the garden either sitting at the top of one of our trees or cleaning up under the bird feeders. We've become quite attached to them.

              Squirrels usually make their nests spherical and not flat. I don't think our Red Kite has nested there and it doesn't seem quite big enough and his perch is at the top of a different tree. So I guess it's more likely to be the crows.

                    Seems early to be nesting.
                    I thought rooks nested high up and in rookeries, used to be loads in the tops of very tall trees, where I worked.
