Thanks @"M" the conditions are steadily getting worse here in the Midlands and I felt sorry for those poor little birds swaying about as they were sitting at the top of the Alder tree before flying over to the Rowan tree to feed.Problem was in a car park there are always people walking about and people slamming car doors. Shame that I lose the quality of some of my photos when I have to zoom in full to try and get good shots.Just been outside for ten minutes top up the bird tables and feeders and have come back indoors, frozen so need to warm up now:snorky:

@strongylodon I am in Northamptonshire on a Migration Route so get a lot of Migrant birds like Short Eared Owls,Ring Ouzels,Great Grey Shrikes,Ospreys,Great White Egrets,Little Egrets, but we don't get Red Squirrels and a lot of birds that you get down your way in Dorset:smile:

Wildlife is strange though because yesterday when we never had the snow the House Sparrows were going mad feeding on my fat balls but today with a blanket of snow on the ground they have all dropped down to try and find seed that has fallen from the bird table.I would have thought there would be more energy in the fat balls than the seed but perhaps not:scratch: I tried getting a photo of them all but my camera keeps focusing on the water droplets on the kitchen window glass:sad:

I did say to Mr Kandy though the other day that we wouldn't get any Fieldfares in the garden until we have the snow.Fiffteen minutes ago I spotted the first one in our Cherry tree:snorky:
