    Hi all,

Can anyone shed some light in this?
This cordyline is 4 years old and this year has decided to sprout some weird stuff from the middle.

    Is this a problem?

Well it depends, its nice to know what the flowers look like:wink:

On the other hand it will stop its upward growth for a while.
They normally branch after flowering and yours is flowering pretty low, so I think a bit of thinning of the new shoots might be a good idea.

You can cut the flower off if you dont like it.

cheers Pete. I'll leave it to it's own devices then. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bad thing.
    Thanks
