Nothing in the ground as yet, but I have onions, shallots and beetroot in modules and also a few broad beans too. Everything else is still at home in the heated greenhouse.

Richard...might be a bit too early for your cucumbers...a cold spell is approaching!

Marley...Fartichokes in a tunnel? Wont they grow through the roof?

Just rotovated a new bed this morning and planted our Fartichokes.

    Steve...:)

Sweet corn won't harden off much in a tunnel?

Personally, if your tunnel is big enough, I think you'd be better to plant it in there rather than outside (or do half-and-half so you have an early crop in the tunnel, and a later one outside). You'll need to hand pollinate them, if you don't get enough draught through the tunnel, but that's just a case of giving the plant a gentle wiggle to dislodge the pollen and then manoeuvring the plant so that the young cob's "silks" are directly in the path of the descending cloud of pollen!

Three broad beans, half a doz beetroot seedlings, box of leek seedlings, garlic in a container (just about to be put outside as well developed now), sprouts, cabbage and cauli just pricked out into pots, early spuds in a tattie sack.
And 8 big pots containing grafted apple and pears that son has done and I've just warned him that they are getting evicted next week along with his bonsais and our pet olive tree

Thanks Steve two reasons why it's in already her in doors in not happy as I have taken over the spear room already with seedling and the other is its one that can grow out doors it's only tiny cucumbers I have been covering with fleece on cold nights too to help it out its already got 6 cucumbers looking nice it's a graffted one from stutton and had been out side for a few days already at b and q

Sorry kriston I did not mean hardening off as such just getting them a bit uses to night time drop and to clear some room lol
They are doing ace I would love to grow them in there but don't think it's big enough as its only 2 m high and that's in center where my path is I am wanting to do a nice block so they pollinate each other
Juli d what's your Bloch called on you tubs I watch a few allotments in will have a look

My blog is called c k plant nursery and its on blogger, have over 100 videos on youtube under juliedrake23.

Polytunnel growing is generally going well, have had tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, courgettes and squashes in their for a few weeks in the larger tunnel. However the 6 x 10ft one hasn't worked so well, lost 89 beans in their where as it didn't touch them in the bigger one.
