I dunno, mine are not showing any flower buds as yet, which is not normal, usually a couple overwinter and a couple or so come up in early spring.

Woo, thanks for starting this off with a cheerful spring photo

Vikky, wonderful bright colours as usual :)

simbad, the hellebores and euphorbias seem to have done very well this year. That bee seems to be enjoying the skimmia. :)

Our fairly wide range of hellebores seem to have produced their own variation this year.
This one has been around for some time in one of our hellebore patches

but I don't remember having planted this one near it

This dicentra seems to have started a bit early for being in a fairly exposed part of the garden

The yellow flowering lamium in one of our woodland areas is ready to burst into bloom

When it does, this whole area becomes a mass of yellow flowers

This woodland area is also starting to bring some colour

I've forgotten what these are :heehee:

The golden plum tree is coming into very heavy flower

Our yellow and ruby epimediums are starting to show colour

    Beepo!!

This amarylis is very happy under the maple tree which is just coming into leaf and bud

This Katsura is an early maple and looks great in April and May

The flowering cherry is turning our lawn into a pink and green carpet

I'm trying to remember the name of this tree but it is covered in thousands of these at the moment

In January we widened this bed by 200 sq ft and stuck bulbs in the front for early instant colour. The other plants are just settling in.
