Nothing too grand up here.....poor soil and a bit of an area where I pop spare stuff in ....but I liked the white gaura and pink cosmos together. A combination that has been flowering for a while now and should continue for several weeks yet without too much attention

upload_2018-8-9_23-25-34.jpeg Show off big head.....my ''nothing too grand up here'' bit has a load of runaway bamboo surrounded by ground elder backed up with a lovely shed with a leaky roof housing a rotten wasp nest...... going to bed :old:

Seen your garden Tetters....its first class :)
I exaggerate a little, trying to be a tad modest, ...i do try to get all parts looking good but this area has worst soil and only for plants enjoying drier conditions. There are some attractive winter and early spring things there.....witch hazel, a pieris does well there, baptisias, hardy geraniums (not long cut back) and there are tall cannas backing them up so not too bad:snorky:

Ha ha jolly ha - you have only seen the photos  would you like to have a gander at some of my ''nothing too grand '' bit - would you :what: .... in fact why can`t we ask everyone to show us their nothing too grand corners? That would be a laugh.
I shall find my camera, and get the backside into gear ..... :psnp:

Anybody else like peaches? With the beast from the east and this summers hot weather we will have a glut, hardly any peach leaf curl and will be our biggest haul since we planted the tree..... but (and there is a but), I hate heights and I've got to pick them tomorrow and our "Peregrine" tree aint as small as it used to be!

I spent a few minutes trying to hand pollinate the flowers last night due to us having heavy rain yesterday afternoon and I am not sure if the bees have been able to do their work:sad:

It never fails to amaze me what beautiful plants can be grown from such a small seed:biggrin::love30:
