    Really lovely pictures Marley.

Salvia sclarea, which I have only recently discovered, makes quite an impressive display reaching five feet or more.

Salvia coccinea. This was from seed sowed in a light box in November. It started to flower in early January, but I cut the first buds off. It started to flower again in March and should go on till the frosts.

Salvia patens is usually dark blue, but this is an unusual pink variety.

Geranium 'Patricia' I think is brilliant, its a sterile hybrid and flowers for months and months.

Campanula medium (Canterbury Bells) is a biennial.

:thumb: Love the Salvias Peter, especially the salvia sclarea. Not seen that one at all before. Love the Canterbury bells, don't see the pink so much as the blue, well not round here anyway..!:)
Peter, do you think that the coccinea has had a better start from being sown in the light box.? Is it worth it.? Only a friend has offered me one. A box that is.! Were they warm enough in there & did you have yours up in the greenhouse or indoors.?? Sorry for all the questions...!:D

Lilium regale. Last year I found the bulbs ofthis still packaged in the rubbish! I planted them even if they were dry and pitiful, and here they are now.

PS with this pic I found that I can actually link pics also from Flickr. The problem was that when clicking on the image box this has the http// already typed in, and when I pasted the url from Flickr I had http// TWICE therefore wrong link. Silly silly silly me. Thanks to Tweaky and Marley for the help and patience. I can be amazingly thick when it comes to this kind of things. :(

    GORGEOUS flowers everyone!

I am really taken with your Salvias sclarea and coccinea Peter - absolutely beautiful and so different!! Love your pink canterbury bells too - I had some lovely pale pink ones a few years back - they were huge, and a real treat! :)

Love your picture of the lily rescue Ivory! Don't you worry about your lack of computing knowledge - took me a whole page (and more) of a thread to work out how to copy a file into another. That's how you learn!!! :)

Roders - thats magnificent. I daren't grow it in the border - it can get a bit possesive. :D So I grow it in a pot, and it doesn't like it. It's in the biggest pot I could get hold of, but the pot is already full of root.

I bought an aconite at a car-boot a month or so ago, and now I know it can be invasive, will keep my eye on it, but if I get fabulous towering spikes like that, don't think I'll mind too much!
