Beautiful Foxglove! I got some free seeds from a gardening mag a few years ago but only 1 seedling survived one winter but died the following spring. I'd hoped to be able to grow a couple on the balcony

Some of our Weigela but others have already gone over and dropped their flowers.

Allium siculum - with a background of Nigella that has spread like wildfire throughout the garden this year. It's just about to open its flowers, which are lovely, and we shall dig up a lot of it before it sets seed.

This is the geranium growing in the centre of our driveway, at the exit, and is not the least disturbed by cars coming in and out. It has been there years :)

A lot of our big groups of Irises have already gone over but the smaller groups and individuals seem a bit later

These poppies grow wild throughout the garden but this is the first one to flower. (the Welsh poppies that also grow wild have been flowering for almost two months!)

We thought we had lost this variegated Ceanothus to the Freeze as it was just bare sticks last month but it seems to have recovered - leaves are much more sparse than usual

Wisteria .S. Prolific I love it bits . I am going to build another pergola a bigger one just so I can have another wisteria, unfortunately this small pergola is showing signs of rot around the base  where it meets the ground , still got some years left in it but the apple tree is leaning on it so that will probably break it eventually .

Emptied pots the other day ready for summer planting, got a couple of cannas think I will put them these two and maybe add a salvia and trailing petunias and maybe something else.

Oh Perki, how could you? Posting blatant, explicit photos of blue poppies...it ought to be illegal!
Your garden looks so beautiful...I'm off to cry in a corner somewhere now

Gorgeous as in previous years @Perki ! Which oriental poppy is that? It looks like a lovely dark red - Beauty of Livermere maybe?
I'm with @noisette47 and trying to ignore the meconopsis - so unfair! :rolleyespink:
