Oxalis I know a weed, but it's cheery and grows in the bottom of the bamboo.

I couldn't help but bring some of my canna lilies up to the community garden, I thought they will be a nice focal point. I've had a lot people wanting to buy them so maybe options somewhere down the line when I split them to sell them off.

What I love about your pictures @Mrs Hillard is that there is hardly any bare earth, and the plants look so good together. I either have prairies of bare concrete (clay) broken by clumps of willowherb, or fighting mounds of aggressive plants trying to throttle each other.

Terrible picture but it was quite a sight when the sun was out

Climbing hydrangea and clematis Broughton star. The clematis was only planted last spring and I want to trellis above it but there is a female blackbird sitting on eggs, directly below the window at the moment. The hydrangea was a buzz with bees for a few days but as soon as the buddleia globosa began flowering, all the bees departed and left for that.

                              Wow that climbing Hydrangea @Thevictorian!

I was pleased with mine until I saw your pic!

Mine is a cover for an old apple tree trunk, but it has nowhere to go now it’s reached the top.

Can’t remember the name of this geranium but it flowers for months on end. Again it’s in a large pot with a clematis. As a very large pot is needed for a clematis, Thorncroft Clematis advise planting a shallow rooted plant like a geranium in the pot as well, seems to work as both are thriving.
