My Nandina domestica has had it's lovely showy berries for ages. I love it against the variegated euonymus

The Hellebore 'Ivory Prince' I bought last year is back and flowering. I kept the leaves on as the flowers are above them and mostly still look good. It's still in the same pot as last year, was in full shade and I barely fertilised it.

And I know this doesn't look particularly 'good' but I love my little propagation station lol :D to sneak it into this thread you can also see my Hippeastrum 'Sumatra' flowering for the third time since Christmas.

I think some selections are freer flowering and berrying than others. Think mine is Nandina domestica 'Richmond' which berries more reliably. It really is a wonderful shrub, with attractive sprays of flowers followed by berries which last through to the next flowering, so sometimes it has flowers and berries at the same time, like arbutus. Nandina is a Berberis relative :dbgrtmb:
