After a very late start things are beginning to pick up in our garden now.

Some the Heucheras have decided they like the warm weather and have stopped playing dead.

The pink tree peony is breaking into flower (I think the yellow one will be open by tomorrow)

The exochordas are still going strong (but I don't think they will survive until Open Day)

We cut the Euphorbia mellifera virtually down to the ground in the Autumn but it's very vigorous

And it's starting to flower - smells of honey and exudes an edible syrup

Lovely photos as always @shiney. What does surprise me is that your plants are only maybe about a week ahead of mine (I'm up near the Arctic Circle according to @Zigs:)) Normally i would expect to see your plants a good month ahead. Hell we have had a dreadful spring heat wise until about 10 days ago, so you can't have had it much better down in the south of England. I fear we could be in for some serious food price rises as it will be unlikely many parts of the UK will get as good a crop of hay/silage as normal plus veg growers will be struggling too I expect.

What a difference a day makes!

In my post No. 35 the pink tree peony was only just opening. This is what it looks like now. There are another 14 buds to open yet. :rolleyespink:
