Thank you @CarolineL it all depends on what they're planted with. I find that fuchsia, trailing geranium and eurigeron keep on flowering all of the time and feeding.

Lovely basket @Logan I find Fuchsias always do better in late summer and autumn.

Berries on my Convalaria majalis rosea ...

You wont believe this, I've just lost all my August pictures thanks to this crazy windows 11, I've never done that before in the last 15yrs or so.

I'm sorry to hear that, but you must have deleted them somehow.
Aren't they still on your camera (or whatever you use for photos)
Wouldn't they still be on your hard drive (I think that's what it's called) or in the 'deleted things' folder ?

No, I deleted them by mistake, this windows 11 is a pain regarding photos, I copied them to a folder as usual, I then wipe them from the SD card as usual, but for some reason the crazy system wiped them from the SD card and the folder I had copied them to, still cant work out what happened.
I'm not keen on this W11, just doesn't do what I want it to do half the time and wants to do its own thing.

Strangely enough I'm getting on rather well with it so far. What I find a nuisance is when you want to copy a photo the menue doesn't say 'copy' but you have to click on 'show more options' first, which is a bit of a nuisance. and the same for paste, you have to click 'more options' first.

Now the photo editing 'thing' is useless, it was much better on windows 10, and even better still on windows 7 which I had years ago.

I also find it gives lots of irrelevant stuff when I want to search for something. I have to scroll down the page before I can find what I want.
I suppose it's a case of getting used to it :frown:

I'm getting on with it ok most of the time but cant seem to find an easy way of copying photos from the SD card to a folder, it took about three clicks with W8, with this it seems to have been made difficult, in my view, and wants every thing to be stored in the cloud???
                        Something called "One Drive" anyway.

                          Never seen that ...

When I put the SD card into the computer I see a page showing all the photos on the SD card, and it says 'select new' or 'select all'
I click on 'select new' and it adds them into the folder of my choise, which I create myself.
I never delete them from the SD card until much later, maybe a few weeks ...

Have a look online and see if you can find an SD card recovery program.

Ugh. Lots of "vendors" saying theirs is best. Recycle bin? Some othe EWindoze 11 feature? A free program (oops "app", newspeak)?

                              @pete I don't like the set up for photo's on W11 either.

A couple of months back, maybe after one of the cumulative updates, all my photos in all the folders were automatically transferred to 'One Drive'. I don't use clouds as I neither trust them not to lose my photo's and also because I want them to remain private on my computer. It was complicated to retrieve them, which my son did for me, and he then uninstalled 'One Drive' so it can't happen again. But who knows...Microsoft may unknowingly restore it at some point, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that.
