What's New Preferences not Saving

Hover Mouse over UserName and select "What's New" from properties.

Click on some forums that I have no interest in.

SAVE

Seems to work, but after a while I start seeing messages in those forums.

Repeat the steps above, and all the ones I ticked are now cleared.

(I've tried going back into it immediately after setting them and they ARE ticked) then

 

its working for me, all i see for example is new posts from staff and feedback, as i'm not here from months at a time it saves me reading hundreds of unread notices etc

how curious

 

Definitely working for me too, except that it doesn't seem to "persist". How long since you set yours? Maybe since the moment it went live, if not there's time yet for it to forget I reckon!

I've re-clicked the checkboxes 3 times now (when I saw forums in the What's New that I was sure I had set to "ignore".

I'll report back if it forgets again, otherwise it was just a getting-started anomaly.

 

They've gone again :(

I will completely reboot, clear cookies, etc. and see if that helps. I'll report back if they are forgotten again

OK, lets assume its me then. I'll report back when I have an opportunity to reboot. (Usually only ever couple of weeks as I have loads of stuff open that I am working on)
