I planted some garlic last year - can't remember when exactly but I didn't water it and it didn't grow! It's now sprouting quite nicely, trouble is from the one garlic clove there are at least four sprouts. I've lifted some and planted separately to see what happens but would like to know if that's the right thing to do or not.

Not really, linlin, garlic is like a shallot. You put one clove in the ground and it forms a cluster, this is what you want to happen don`t part them otherwise the plants will never mature. My advice would be to let them do what comes naturally. [IMG]

Thanks Dai - I'll leave them alone then.
