What's this flower please

    Can any body tell me what this is please my little boy planted it at nursery. It won't be any thing too fancy I think it was just an out the packet summer flowering bulb.

    I reckon it's this from google images but theirs no name on it. Probs an easy one, I can spot a parsnip at 200m but I'm terrible with plants and flowers

    Hi Dan,

    It's an Oxalis Deppei ( Iron Cross Plant ). Grows from a little corm. Can be planted outside but be careful as it can be invasive. Best to keep it in a pot.

      If it's been grown indoors then I would wait another month or so before putting it out, especially as you're up in Yorkshire.
