Can anyone identify this plant please? It was given to me a couple of weeks ago.

I'm a bit confused about how much and often to water this plant.

As you should be able to see from the photo, it's a bit droopy and the leaves are getting yellow. I don't know if it's just the season, however, the droopiness goes after I've watered it.

Once identified, I'm sure there'll be plenty of advice online somewhere about how to look after it as long as it's based on one in a planter.

    Thanks very much.

It looks like a Hydrangea. Every time it shows signs of drooping give it a good soaking. if it droops every seven days, water it every six!

It would probably prefer to be planted out next year, it will mostly drop its leaves this coming winter but will benefit from more root room next year.

@Gn0me I agree that it looks very much like a Hydrangea Lacecap, possibly.

Perhaps this webpage may help you:

          Hydrangea macrophylla

          Deja vu!
          Be careful.
It will soon lose all the leaves.
Then during winter it will not need watering as often as in the spring or summer.
Looks a fine specimen but needs a bigger pot. 1mrvxfrj2mnm.jpg
