    Hi all

I have had this indoor plant for almost 2 years, and I'd like to make more out of it. But what is it and how do I propagate? Many thanks!

Well it looks splittable, division is the easiest method of propagating ferns.

Spores are a bit long winded but interesting to try.

Thanks Pete. Any tips on dividing? I've never done it, and wouldn't want to damage the root.
      Many thanks!

Well, I've never divided one of this kind before but a lot of ferns are possible to split.
Personally I'd take a chance and cut down through the base with a sharp knife after knocking it out of the pot, and then dragging it apart at root level to leave both parts with some good roots.
It might be a bit tough.
Depends on how many new plants you want as to how many cuts you make, but I'd not be too greedy and just settle for two or three max.
