What's this? Seen while out on my walk

    The leaves look like oak, but there's some sort of fruit on it.

    Also saw this, which looks like crab apple, except for it being the wrong time of year for it to have fruit on it. This is a different tree by the way, just to avoid confusion.

    Oak apples?
    Caused by the oak gaul wasp I think.
