    It could be a Newt or a comman lizard but i could be wrong

          The neighbours used to have a huge pond, but shes throwing grass and all sorts if rubbish in it, so it's no longer a pond, but it still looks damp.

          Could be a Palmate Newt.
          They live happily in damp grass, but would appreciate a pond if you can get one together.

            Smooth Newt, Palmate has webbed back feet. It has finished with ponds until next Spring.
