First picture was taken tea time last night as I was watering everything.

Second picture was taken tonight at a very similar time.

Yesterday and today have both been nice sunny days (north east of England). Haven't moved them.

    Any ideas?

Phew. I feel like an expectant mother. Every evening the garden is different. Flowers, buds, colours, size - constantly changing.

Someone told me that you can cook with the flowers. Do I remove them now, do they drop off, do I take them when I harvest the courgette?

      So exciting!!!

      Thank you.

I'm not sure when you harvest the flowers for cooking, but you do need to leave the male flowers to pollinate the female ones.
They usually open early in the day and are often wilted by the evening.
