OOOooooh new thread! Well, it was blimming freezing this morning, then in London it was no warmer and snowed for around six minutes (but it didn't settle) and now it's blimming freezing again.

Clear skies again!!!:hapydancsmil::hapfeet::yes: The temperature managed to creep to 37f today but with a fair breeze it made it feel below freezing. Right now the temperature is 33f and the pressure reading 999hpa:coffee::snorky:

Snow flurries on and off yesterday and a bit nippy in the wind.

On the way home late last night there was occasional wet snow making it difficult for the wipers. The conditions made it seem even darker and gloomier than normal and having to find a way through unknown country lanes (they shut the slip road off the motorway, for roadworks, but no advanced signs :mute:) was difficult.

Yesterday we had heavy wet snow at around 9am, and then it eased for me to go into Brussels. I got back at 2pm, to find the snow I swept off the car still on the drive. Ok, temperature was now 2 degrees...
Then it started wet-snowing again at around 3.30pm. By 5pm we had about an inch (again) lying on the ground. Unfortunately, the wet snow fell just before rush hour. Hubby works in an industrial park, near the Bute de Lion Waterloo battle memorial. There is a motorway slip-road, with a side-slip off the sliproad directly into the park (if you see what I mean). When the Ring (motorway around Brussels, half-way between the North Circular, and M25 in style) slowed, people were "clever" and exited the motorway to go across-country. When the sliproad blocked, they took the side-slip into the industrial park...
...you guessed it! The park roads gridlocked, as there were minor shunts on the roads around. It took 3 hours (17.00-20.00) before hubby could get out of the office underground parking!
Fortunately, he didn't join the queue to leave the garage, so was at least able to go back to his desk and work, whilst I spent an hour clearing the 1-2 inches of snow off our drive, gate entrance, and road. It was eerily silent, with the occasional siren. Apparently there were 400km of queues/traffic jams around Brussels, centred to the south (us!). A "normal" bad day would be about 100km...
It all froze overnight, but is now slowly melting...

                .... looks pretty!

A breezy start with a mixture of sunshine and cloud all day. The temperature was up to a huge 8C/46F.
