The new thread for 2017.
Well that just about sums up the weather for 2017!
? ? ? Wot..... No tornadoes
Just for you, Anthony...............
42F and too dark and murky to say anything else.
7c and cloudy
Cloudy, sleety and windy. 6C/43F
It's as good a word as any Armandii and the 'y' fitted with the rest.
I wasn't questioning the word, Sheal, just shivering from the thought of Sleet...........and Ziggy would have used another word to describe it
Oh, sorry I got the wrong end of the stick. Yes, the weather's set to get worse with snow showers and high winds over the next few days.
Yet another grey, breezeless, dull day of grey low clouded skies. The temperature hovered around 48f and it stayed dry. Right now the temperature is 46f and the pressure reading has dropped to 991hpa.
It's been a very bright, sunny and mild day down here (in tropical Kent!). Supposed to be getting a bitterly cold front in the next few days, so I've got my thermals ready. Any plants which cannot take the cold will simply have to sulk.
10c at 6am dry with some cloud may see some sun but i'm not going to hold by breath
At 7 a.m. we had clear blue skies and the sun was glowing from below the horizon. It was 45F and virtually no wind at all. By 7.50 a.m. it is starting to change and the temperature has risen to 46.4F, clouds are drifting, fairly rapidly, in from the West and will very shortly have obscured the rising sun. The forecast for this afternoon is strong winds bringing cold weather so I shall have to get a little bit of gardening done this morning. Possible snow forecast for tomorrow evening. They've posted a Yellow Warning about the snow. Don't like yellow snow!!!!
No idea of temp right now, was 6c around 9 am.. too cold for me. It's dry but really windy though. Snow tomorrow!
Sunny and windy and the temperature is dropping (think it's the wind chill factor).
Ditto!!! Some very dark clouds were moving in at dusk
Partly sunny day but very windy. A muddy and blustery 6 mile walk near Corfe Castle, I thought I was going to take off.
