Thank you for preparing our August thread @wiseowl.

We had a bit of rain overnight, about 3am, and we may have a bit more this morning. It’s reading 20 degrees on my patio this morning and is very pleasant for my first cuppa.

          Again 19.5c overnight.
It's cloudy and dead calm, I think we might have a slight sprinkling of rain the garden chairs are damp.

Another month already - where did July go!

A damp, cloudy start here, with an o'night low of 13 degrees [14 just now at approx. 7.05 am] and a predicted high of about 20 later on once it gets a bit sunnier. A bit of a breeze later too, which will be nice.
Our July rainfall total was 60.5 mm, so very, very dry for here.

Yesterday I was away on a hill, but the weather was pretty similar all over the west. The high was 22 degrees, and it was sunny with a bit of wispy cloud.
It was hot where I was too [Aberfoyle] but fortunately there was a breeze higher up to prevent it being unbearable, as a good part of the walk is at low level and they've cleared all the section of forestry which would have given some nice shade. It became cloudier on the return route which also helped. I even remembered to put sun screen on before I set off!

No rain at all over night, got 154 drops per sqm (m for mile) at 8, but that’s it.
Temperature down a bit but should go up to 26c and BBC forecasts rain :please:

Hopefully, we will notice August, @fairygirl :)

There were a few drops of rain overnight. Now it's 21C heading to 27c so a fair bit cooler than the last couple of days. Thunderstorms late afternoon.

It's raining . It didn't start until 8-ish (about two hours later than forecast) and I don't think it'll last long, but it's better than nothing!

I didn't catch the July thread before it closed, but my total rainfall for July was 56.5mm, which is around the long-term average, but there was nothing measurable after the 16th so it felt like a dry month overall.
