Dont worry weather station forecast are based on airpressure, the trend is usually a general one, rather than what is happening now, so it's a signal for the next few days. so your weather station is fairly accurate.. after tomorrow it will become more settled with some sunshine.

Now 10.4C with lashing rain and hideous gusts

A drab day again and yet another gale blowing with intermittent rain, 11C. Is this a good sign or a bad one? The last three years we've had gales here in October and the following summers have been bad. Before that the gales were always around the new year with better summers. I'm holding my breath! :)

Lordy lordy - its wild out there this morning! The little mini GH is rocking to and fro and the 2 seed feeders are like clock pendulums. Fun watching the tits and goldfinches doing lands and take offs ! The GC Weatherwidget looks pretty naff in the western corner - there maybe be trouble ahead....
take care and stay safe everyone,
      Jenny

Well, it was very windy during the night and I could hear the rain beating against the window. When I got up this morning the wind had dropped but it was still raining. Right now it has stopped raining and the temperature is 48f.:coffee:

Rain here too will it ever stop. But still lucky compared to the amount some of you must be getting. Lets hope 2013 comes in dryer for us all.

New Year and new weather  , it's lovely out there folks, clear blue skies, the sun's up, slighest bit of ice on the compost bin lids and a gentle breeze :dancy: . The birds are singing (and feeding too), what could be better, just hope it lasts a while, fingers crossed :)
