I've got a wheelbarrow with a flat tyre...it only inflates for an hour or so...Don't know if it's tubed or not.Can you buy new wheels or have it tubed? It was given to me, so no idea of the make etc. Are the wheels standard?....anybody know? Shame to ditch it just because of a flat tyre.

It's >99% certain that it's got a an inner tube that can be fixed with a bicycle puncture repair kit, cheapest from Poundland, Tesco Value, Wilkos, etc. Don't forget to look inside the tyre incase there's a thorn poking through.

You can get new wheels, including 'punture proof' ones, but not all barrows will have the right fittings to take them. I said >99% above because I've got one with a tubeless trailer tyre fitted making it far more resistant to thorns and it won't suddenly go down, but I will have to get it fixed at a tyre garage.

I'm guessing you could try 'Tyreweld' from Halfords et.al.

More likely to have a tube in ..Take off the wheel and remove tyre as you would a bycycle . As Scrungee says an easy fix with repair kit ..Nothing lost by having a look first ,,

Sitting here with a glazed expression on my face having realised that it's over 50 years since I bent my Mums dining fork handles repairing a bike tube.....Blimey!...Where did those years go...

I'll have to try and remember how to mend a puncture.

Raebhoop...if you can't find any forks to bend, just pump it up and work like hell in 1 hour bursts!
