im for NYC at the start of april and yet to get my ploy ploughed but when is it too late to plant our soft fruits? i know bare roots is a no go now, but ive read that containers are fine. am i mistaken in thinking they mean buying those in containers or by putting them into them after? i think ive confused myself!

I've put bare rooted fruit bushes/trees in Morrison flower buckets loads of times when my plot has been waterlogged over winter/spring, but will they get watered when you're away?

Hope your weather's OK, we went to New York first week in April and the snow hadn't completely cleared, but turned into T shirt weather.
