wHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PRUNE A CHERRY TREE

    I have two native cherry trees, in my front garden, what time of the year would it be best to prune them. I remember reading someware that at certain times of the year it could damage the tree, any advice.

    Prune them just after fruiting and well before leaf drop. Apples of course in the depths of winter
