When to harvest pumpkins and spagetti squash

    Should I be harvesting my pumpkins now? also I have grown spagetti squash and not sure when that will be ready ?! On the seed packet the squashes look green but mine are still yellow. any ideas peeps please.

    I wait till the plant has naturally died off to ensure maximum plumpness, so that will be in the next week since frost is predicted by the weekend. They need full sunlight to ripen, if your squashes are in the shade then cut the fruit off and move them into the sun.

      That works? Do you just leave them outside to ripen in the sun after cutting them off?
