I have grown Rudbeckia Goldsturm from seed this year . They are growing well if not a little slowly. As is usual with me I have planted them in the wrong place ! They are getting swamped by the Dahlias . Should I lift them in late October store in large pots and plant out when growing next spring ( I'll store them outside in a sheltered spot ) ?

    TIA

I have mixed results with rudbeckias. Some thrive being left out and others repeatedly die on me. The ones I definitely want I dig up into pots overwinter.

Take a piccy of the area now so you know where not to plant them out in spring!
