Evening all, hope the weather hasn't caused too much damage. I've got 2 questions, firstly is it still ok to plant garlic, my first lot (planted in October) are looking good [IMG] but would like to plant some more. Secondly, having only previously grown above ground (lettuce, toms etc)
how do I know when my under ground crop (garlic, onion, carrots etc) are ready? [IMG] I haven't got a lot of room so don't want to waste pulling every couple of weeks in the hope that somethings ready.
    Cheers,
    Boots

Boots, assuming you are asking about root crops, the only one you have there is carrots. Garlic and onions are surface crops, and you can plant some more Garlic now if you wish, they will just be a little later cropping.

mz, you don`t want garlic to flower. If they have flower stems, cut them off.

Not to worry, catt, mine are the same, just a bit of scorch. Yours should be fine.
